Orders, Payment & Pricing

By placing an order, you agree that:

• You are responsible for reviewing the full product description before purchasing.

• You enter into a legally binding contract to purchase once you complete checkout.

• All payments must be made in full at the time of purchase via the payment options listed at checkout.

Prices listed on our website are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, cancel orders with incorrect prices, and update product details without notice.

Applicable sales tax and/or processing fees may be added at checkout where required by law.

Order Changes & Cancellations

We begin processing orders shortly after they are placed. Because of this, we cannot guarantee any changes or cancellations once your order is confirmed.

If you need to update or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible via our Contact Page. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request, but we make no guarantees.

Shipping & Delivery

Most made-to-order products are typically fulfilled within approximately 2–5 business days before shipment. Shipping time is additional and varies based on destination, shipping method, product availability, carrier conditions, and other factors.

All fulfillment and delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.

Once an order ships, tracking information will generally be provided by email when available. If you believe an order has been lost or significantly delayed, please contact us so we can help investigate the issue.

Returns, Replacements & Order Issues

Because most Toro & Tides merchandise is made to order, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing, color preference, or ordering mistakes.

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, or if a package appears to have been lost in transit, please contact us within 30 days of delivery or the estimated delivery date. Include your order number and clear photos of the issue when applicable.

Eligible claims may result in a replacement or refund. Please do not return an item unless we specifically instruct you to do so.

Product Availability & Limited Runs

Some of our pieces are offered in small batches or limited runs. Once they’re gone, they may not be restocked. We recommend purchasing items you love while they’re available.

Plasticity Lab & Digital Tools

Plasticity Lab is a self-paced cognitive practice tool inspired by exercises encountered through lived rehabilitation experience. It is not a medical device, clinical service, treatment program, or rehabilitation program.

We do not guarantee that use of Plasticity Lab will produce any particular medical, cognitive, therapeutic, or rehabilitation outcome.

Unless otherwise stated, access to Toro & Tides digital tools is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the software, exercises, design, or content without permission.

Where an account is required, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login information and for activity occurring through your account.

​

We may update, modify, temporarily suspend, or discontinue digital features when reasonably necessary for maintenance, improvements, security, or other operational reasons.

Brain to Brain Podcast

Brain to Brain provides conversations and personal perspectives related to brain injury. Podcast content is provided for informational and storytelling purposes and should not be relied upon as individualized medical or professional advice.

Submitting a guest application does not guarantee selection or an appearance on Brain to Brain. Toro & Tides may accept or decline applications at its discretion and may request additional information before inviting someone to participate.

​

Guests who are selected to participate may be asked to provide additional consent relating to the recording, editing, publication, distribution, and promotion of their episode.

Speaking Engagements

Submitting a speaking inquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking or create an obligation for Evan Folan or Toro & Tides to participate in an event.

Speaking engagements are confirmed only after the parties agree to the applicable terms, which may include event details, fees, travel, expenses, cancellation terms, recording permissions, and other requirements.

Where a separate speaking agreement is entered into, that agreement will govern the engagement and will take precedence over these website Terms if there is any conflict.

Inquiries, Partnerships & Opportunities

Toro & Tides welcomes inquiries relating to advocacy, partnerships, sponsorships, media, nonprofit work, community initiatives, speaking, and other opportunities.

Submitting an inquiry, proposal, application, or other information does not create a partnership, agency relationship, contract, endorsement, or obligation between you and Toro & Tides.

We may accept, decline, or choose not to respond to opportunities at our discretion.

Third-Party Services & Links

Our website may link to or integrate with third-party websites, services, payment providers, retailers, fulfillment providers, podcast platforms, social networks, and other external services.
