The story behind Brain to Brain Podcast
It started as rehab. It became something bigger.
Brain to Brain began as part of Evan’s recovery.
With a background in broadcast journalism, one of his therapists gave him a task during rehab: interview people in the center, then call at the end of the day and tell their story back like a newscast. That exercise had a name, Brain to Brain.
Years later, it became a podcast.
What started as therapy turned into a space for real conversations about brain injury, not the polished version, not the simplified version, the real one. The symptoms that do not always make sense. The isolation. The setbacks. The progress. The weird overlaps. The moments that make you feel seen.
Because no two brain injuries are the same. But the experience of living with one can feel strangely familiar.
