The Iceberg Tee

We chose the iceberg because it captures something a lot of people with brain injuries know too well - what people see is rarely the full picture.

On the surface, someone might look completely fine. They might be out, working, laughing, showing up, doing their best to move through the day like nothing’s wrong. But underneath that can be fatigue, sensory overload, headaches, memory deficits, emotional strain, and the kind of effort no one else can really measure.

The visible part is only a fraction. The rest exists below the surface, out of view, even when it’s shaping everything.

This is a reminder to look deeper. To assume less. To remember there’s often more going on than meets the eye.
